11-02-2007 - The rain gutter is the last bad part on the car I (still) have to repair. I have tried to weld the holes, but that's not going to work. The pencil stripes mark where I'm going to cut.

11-02-2007 - Seen from the top you get an idea of the bad shape the rain gutter is in.

11-02-2007 - Same story, from the bottom.

11-02-2007 - Rotten metal removed, big gap remaining. I'm going to shape the three (!!!) parts of sheet metal the rain gutter is made from by hand.

11-02-2007 - The icing on the cake the Van will become: The second-hand 5-speed gearbox I bought in Germany. It's from Tran-X.

11-02-2007 - Lovely, isn't it? The parts on the left form the 5th gear.

11-02-2007 - Rain gutter repaired. I'm quite happy with the result.

11-02-2007 - The hardest part of the repair was to get it straight. As you can see, the upper part of the gutter is straight. The outside (that is not 100% straight) I can correct with a hint of plaster. I'm a happy camper!
