22-01-2006 >> Finished brackets for the oil cooler and steering wheel. Made mounting points for the front part of the roll cage.

22-01-2006 - I was testing the position of the steering wheel, for the new brackets. It feels good to sit in the Van! My wife thought it was a nice picture. An old tire is all you need to sit on, really... :-)

22-01-2006 - Here's the new bracket for the steering wheel. The standard bracket is not very strong and especially with a lowered steering wheel there's a lot of flex. As I intend to corner fast, I need a solid mounted steering wheel! :)

22-01-2006 - As I put new floor parts in the Van, I needed to re-bore the holes for the front roll cage hoop. Extra plates were welded to the floor, for extra strength.
